About Me
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in philosophy in 2001, I decided to travel around a little bit.  I lived in Atlanta, New York City, Detroit, and Philadelphia; and, I was lucky enough to be able to travel to India, Morocco, and Tanzania.  In 2006, tragedy struck in the form of a severe back injury.  Then, in 2007, it happened again.  I did not want to submit to surgery, so instead, I decided to learn how to heal myself.  Thus, I researched massage therapy schools in my area, found the best, and enrolled.  After graduating from The National Institute of Massotherapy in Akron, OH, in 2010, I passed the Ohio State Medical Boards and earned my license to practice.  I am happy to say that, today, I am operating at around 95% of what I was before my injuries.

About My Practice
The methods I use for treatment are Postural Analysis, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Articular Release, Positional Release, and Neuromuscular Techniques such as Reciprocal Inhibition and Post-Isometric Muscle Release. The conditions I treat are numerous, ranging from peripheral neuropathies such as carpal tunnel syndrome and sciatic nerve entrapment, to chronic pain conditions and post-surgical/post-traumatic conditions. The ultimate goal of treatment is to re-educate and balance the body, in order to optimize function, efficiency, and well-being.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my wife, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, meditating, reading, practicing tai chi, and binge-watching Netflix.
