About Me
I was born and raised in Boulder and I attended medical school in Albany, NY, after two years with the Peace Corps in Guinea, West Africa. I married my anatomy lab partner in my third year of medical school and we started our family while in residency training in Rochester, NY. I completed training in medical acupuncture shortly after residency and enjoyed three years of running my own integrated private practice in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The draw of the mountains and being near family pulled me back to the Rockies and a unique career opportunity with Kaiser Permanente in the Primary Care and Complementary Medicine Departments.

 

About My Practice
I was initially drawn to family medicine both for the breadth and variety of practice and for the opportunity to serve families across generations. I enjoy providing full-service family medicine with a focus to improve health and prevent disease. The unique combination of western medicine and acupuncture allows me to provide members with an integrated mind, body, and spirit approach to personal health and disease management. I especially enjoy reducing patient’s dependence on pain medications with clinically proven acupuncture protocols.

How I thrive
My family and I share a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the tremendous year-round opportunities here in Colorado. We tend to enjoy activity simply for the sake of being in motion and communing with nature.
